Composting 101, with Seven Oaks Plant Shop’s own Brit

Ever want to know how to compost correctly and then the advantages of using it for your gardens and landscapes? Yes, we do!

Our very own Brit is not only on staff with us but a student at USC studying Environmental Science and is all about the purpose of composting.  There’s so many good reasons we should all compost like soil health, plant growth, pesticide reduction, water quality and waste reduction.  We’ve just installed two compost bins at our plant shop to ensure we are reducing the waste that hit’s our trash cans and we’re super proud of Brit for having this idea and for encouraging us to all compost and do it well. During this class we’ll learn the whys, hows and whats when it comes to composting.

This is a FREE class and space is limited to 16 guests, with pre-registration required.
