Growing Your Own Mushrooms — with The Purple Mushroom

Did you know that Oyster Mushrooms come in a variety of colors, like blue, brown and even pink or that Lion’s Mane Mushrooms got its name because as it grows, it gets a shaggy appearance that resembles a Lion’s mane? Did you know there’s an indoor, urban mushroom farm located in Columbia?  Yes, there is and we are excited to have Tatrina with The Purple Mushroom come to discuss all things mushrooms, how and why she started her business and  how you can grow your own mushrooms at home.  Tatrina will also have mushrooms that she’s grown for purchase at this event plus a sampling of her mushroom coffee, that’s out of this world good and good for you.

This class is FREE and space is limited to 20 guests, with pre-registration required.  The Purple Mushroom will have mushroom growing kits and mushroom coffee available for purchase the day of the event.
